When the clarion call of China's reform and opening- up sounded, a group of young people in Wenzhou, driven by the determination to shake off poverty, stepped into the unfamiliar machinery industry and became one of China's first generations of printing equipment manufacturers in the new era. Starting from a small workshop in rural Wenzhou, Ruian Xinhua Printing Machinery Factory was founded in 1985. Wenzhou Daishi Printing Machinery Co., Ltd. was established in 1994, followed by Zhejiang Daishi Printing Machinery Co., Ltd. in 2010. From striving to escape individual poverty to working alongside more than 600 partners worldwide to change their destinies, generations of young people at Daishi have grown from changing personal fates into a force helping *Made in China* go global.
